Description
• Half mask made of three layers of non-woven polypropylene. Two outer spunbond layers and one inner meltblown layer constitute the filter material. • Each side of the mask has an elastic band allowing the mask to be fixed on the face.
• A metal nose clip covered with plastic allows the mask to be adjusted to the face at the level of the nose.
• Extremely light and comfortable.
• When a person breathes, speaks, coughs, sneezes, etc., he rejects, in greater or lesser quantity, droplets secreted by the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose. These droplets evaporate quickly and leave particles suspended in the air. The majority of these particles have a diameter of between 0.5 μm and 12 μm; larger droplets, in particular, may contain microorganisms originating from the source site. The particles they contain can then spread through the air to a sensitive site, such as an open wound from an operation or sterile equipment.
